Meet the founder

Modernizing the hiring concept.

Pudding was founded to change what an interview is: not a vague conversation that circles the job, but real, recent, job-relevant work that the candidate and hirer can both see and talk through.

Years ago, after yet another new hire who had interviewed brilliantly and then struggled with the actual day-to-day work, our founder kept coming back to the same stubborn question: why does anyone trust a whiteboard, or a résumé, over the work itself? An old proverb had already answered it — the proof is in the pudding, and you judge the dish by eating it — and that idea became the kernel for Pudding.

Today, Pudding gives hiring teams a work demo layer: paid, asynchronous take-homes that candidates build in tools they already use, then explain live to an AI agent that watches the screenshare and asks sharp questions about the decisions behind the work, all through a single integrated platform.
